The following is an explanation of the return policy for the products bought at https://habitium.ie:
You are not satisfied (right to withdraw)
If the reason for the return is that the order does not meet your expectations (right to withdraw), the period to communicate it is 14 calendar days, and we'll refund the payment without justification of the decision and without any type of penalization, but the returning fees will be covered by the client (if the payment is processed by PayPal you might be interested in consulting with them the special returns conditions provided by having the option "refund of return shipping costs of PayPal" activated).
In the event that the material has to be resent to the factory to check its state, at first, Habitium.ie will pay for the return shipping expenses to the warehouse. If after the appropriate examination, the technical assistance service concludes that the product is affected by a manufacturing defect, the client won't have to pay for any expenses. If the examination result shows that the product was damaged by improper use from the customer, the customer will have to pay the shipping expenses to the factory and a new shipping if he/she decides to retrieve the material.
Before making any returns, the client will have to inform it to the customer service department via email at [email protected] to receive instructions for the return. Previous communication is essential, and we'll not accept any returns on freight collect that are sent by a carrier different from the one specified by us. It is required that the products are returned on the original package, without being installed and in perfect conditions, it is forbidden using zip ties or adhesive tapes applied directly on the product. If the User is unable to return the order in its original packaging, the User will have to pay for packaging expenses. Habitium.ie will not accept returns in which the written notification from the client is sent after the 14 calendar days after receiving the product. The cancellation right does not apply when it involves provision of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health-care or hygiene protection and that have been unsealed after the delivery.
Products that are "made-to-measure", "customized", "exclusive" or "special", i.e., goods that are manufactured according to the consumer and user's specifications, clearly customized, or made under a specific measurement, colour, cut, or other non-standard finish chosen by the customer will not be accepted for return, unless there is a clear manufacture defect.
Money refunds will be made using the same payment method used on the purchase.
